EXPERIENCE
Head of Practice in charge of the labor and immigration law team at Claro &Cia.
Has focused his practice on comprehensive labor advice to clients on corporate issues, collective bargaining, social security and immigration, and on defending employers in labor litigation.
He has extensive experience in corporate labor matters. For more than 13 years, he has advised important companies on matters such as stock options, phantoms, agreed deposits, termination packages, immigration and the most diverse corporate labor issues, both in specific projects and in comprehensive daily advice.
He is a specialist in labor litigation, an area in which he has defended both national and foreign clients in relevant lawsuits.
Likewise, he advises clients from the most diverse areas in terms of work accidents, safety and hygiene, and regulatory compliance in occupational health matters, also defending them before the courts of justice.
He has worked as a professor of History of Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and as an assistant professor of Labor Law and Social Security at the same university.
He is co-author of the publication “International Labor and Labor Compliance Handbook” published by Wolters Kluwer Law & Business. He is also co-author of the publication “Women, Business and the Law; Removing barriers to economic inclusion” of The World Bank and IFC, 2012.
He joined Claro & Cia. in 2015.
He is authorized to practice as a lawyer in Chile.
He is a member of the Bar Association.
